The story of the cruel life of two young immigrant brothers in Germany, 21 August 2006
10/10
Author: Tayyebeh from Germany

The movie focuses on the life of two young brothers, who live in the poorest part of Munich. They have always been outlaws, through their entire life. In Greece, because they belonged to the minority of Turkish people, and in Germany, because they are simply foreigners. The younger brother, Christos, prostitutes himself at the train station to earn some money. The elder brother Maikis is a well-known trouble maker in school.

Their new school teacher Hannah tries to help them out where she can. Together with a social worker, Xaver, she tries to get a relationship to Maikis. When things just started to get better(at the end of the movie), a horrible tragedy happens...

This was one of the best films I ever saw, because it portrays the tragedy, that life can bring. The acting is superb. You see how hard it is, as an immigrant to identify with only one culture. You might be born in a foreign country, but you have spend your whole life in another one. So it can happen that you'll never be accepted completely.
