Eddie wants to break up with Elaine, but fears he'll wimp out in the middle of the conversation, so he rehearses in a café with his long-time friend Beth. That day, and twice more, each a week apart, Beth coaches him. Two waitresses overhear the rehearsals and think it's the real thing. As they try to sort out what's going on, Beth and Eddie's motives get cloudy. What's the game, and when things clear up, can the waitresses keep from giving their own tips to Eddie and Beth? Wow--entire 90 minute romantic movie all rolled into less than 10 minutes!!

A guy is planning on breaking up with his girlfriend, so he meets a lady who is his friend at a local café. Together they practice how he should break this to his girlfriend, but he never seems to quite get it right. So, again and again, they return to the café to work on the details. Interestingly, each time they come, two waitresses watch them intently--thinking the man and woman are a couple and the waitresses follow their supposed adventures like it's a soap opera.

This is a sweet short film from the UK. It is a romantic comedy that is extremely well written and sweet. In many ways, it's like an entire movie rolled up into one small package, as the story is actually quite complex and there are some cute supporting characters that give it quite a bit of depth. Plus, it has lots of nice twists that are sure to make the romantics out there quite happy.
