This is one of the only shows in the history of the Disney Channel to break its own "65 limit" (where Disney will cancel a show after 65 episodes to keep it from going stale and from collecting residuals). It is the first Disney Channel show to reach 100 episodes.

The school set is the same one that Saved by the Bell (1989) used.
T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh felt her character Tonya Baxter was going nowhere and quit the show near the end of the third season. After her departure, it was explained in one episode that Tonya received a scholarship to study International Law in Europe.
To date (Jan 15), "Raven" is the second longest-running Disney Channel original series.
Raven's favorite Band in the show, Boyz n Motion, is a parody of boy band *NSYNC.
This is the first Disney Channel show to have a spin-off of series, which is Cory in the House (2007).
One of Raven's favorite singers on the show, Pressure, played by Kevontay Jackson, is a parody of Usher Raymond.
In a 2007 interview, Anneliese van der Pol stated that Chelsea's original name was Emma. Also, that the roles of Raven and Chelsea were switched, so that Chelsea was the psychic.
The scenes were shot in chronological order starting from Season 3.
Maisha (played by Debra Wilson) is one of Raven's favorite singers on the show. She is a parody of Moesha, originally played by Brandy Norwood.
Raven's middle name is Lydia.
Chelsea's middle name is Ophelia.
The original name for the main character was Dawn Baxter, and the show was originally named 'The Future Is on Me.' However, they changed the main character's name to Rose Baxter, and the show was called 'Absolutely Psychic.' Eventually, the show was finally called 'That's So Raven.'
The show is set in San Francisco, California
The series' working title was "Absolutely Psychic."
This is one of Disney's most successful shows, earning over $100 million dollars in merchandise, and passing the 65 episode limit. It's the second longest running show on Disney, right behind Wizards of Waverly Place (2007).

In an interview with the African American Literature Book Club, Raven-Symone was asked if she ever sensed her "phsycic abilities" she portrays in the show in real life. Raven replied , "Yes, I have. I don't really like to talk about it too much, because it's a little personal for me. But I'm a very spiritual person, and I believe that there are amazing special gifts that people are blessed with. It just depends on whether you want to listen or not."

In season 1, Raven throws a party for Corey & asked bring out a snake. Raven exclaims in the episodes that she hates. In real life, Raven-Symone really is terrified of snakes. She stated that the experience was very traumatic for her and the repulsing faces she's making while holding the snake are real.
