The school set is the same one that Saved by the Bell (1989) used.
This is one of the only shows in the history of the Disney Channel to break its own "65 limit" (where Disney will cancel a show after 65 episodes to keep it from going stale and from collecting residuals). It is the first Disney Channel show to break 100 episodes.
T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh felt her character Tonya Baxter was going nowhere and quit the show near the end of the third season. After her departure, it was explained in one episode that Tonya received a scholarship to study International Law in Europe.
Raven's favorite Band in the show, Boyz n Motion, is a parody of boy band *NSYNC.
To date (Sept. 2007), "Raven" is the longest-running Disney Channel original series.
In a 2007 interview, Anneliese van der Pol stated that Chelsea's original name was Emma. Also, that the roles of Raven and Chelsea were switched, so that Chelsea was the psychic.
This is the first Disney Channel show to have a spin-off of series, which is Cory in the House (2007).
Pressure, played by Kevontay Jackson), another one of Raven's favorite singers on the show, is a Parody of Usher Raymond.
The original name for the main character was Dawn Baxter, and the show was originally named 'The Future Is on Me'. However, they changed the main character's name to Rose Baxter, and the show was called 'Absolutely Psychic'. Eventually, the show was finally called 'That's So Raven.'
