The origins of this being a stage-play are readily obvious. One expects the curtains to cut across the actors any minute!
A touch of the "Virginia Woolf's" here as three old friends, Helen, Jude and Shirl cut to the chase and really get up each other when circumstances open the floodgates of pent-up emotion.
Findleton, Hruby and Schofield are good, no denying it but when all is said and done it feels like we are watching a family squabble through a partially open door. Doesn't amount to a whole lot!
