Death Comes to Pemberley concludes with 4.4m on BBC One

Death Comes to Pemberley continued to pull in viewers for BBC One with an audience of 4.43 million on Saturday (December 28).

20% of the audience share tuned in to watch the conclusion of the Pd James adaptation, which serves as a follow-up to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, at 9pm.

Meanwhile, a new series of All Star Family Fortunes managed to top the night's ratings for ITV. 4.84m viewers (22.68%) saw the Dancing on Ice team take on the cast of Coronation Street in the series premiere at 7pm.

Back on BBC One, a showing of Disney Pixar's Up pulled in 3.55m (16.5%) at 6.50pm, while Atlantis dropped 1.9m viewers from last week, with the season finale attracting 3.67m (15.8%) at 8.15pm.

Over on BBC Two, Dad's Army was seen by 1.93m (8.84%) at 7.30pm, while a repeat of 2010 documentary 100 Years of the Palladium attracted 1.8m (7.84%) at 8pm.

Strictly Come Dancing semi-final peaks with 10.61m viewers on BBC One

Strictly Come Dancing hit a peak audience of 10.61 million viewers during last night's (December 14) semi-final.

An average of 9.92 million viewers (42.8%) tuned in to see the five remaining couples perform two dances for a spot in next week's final.

It was immediately followed by Atlantis, which drew 4.2m viewers (17.8%) at 8.20pm. Approximately 3.69m (15.8%) stuck around to watch Casualty at 9.05pm, while 3.51m (2.7%) viewers tuned in to watch highlights from Arsenal vs. Manchester City on Match of the Day.

The first of a two-part X Factor final was ITV's highest-rated show on Saturday night. An average of 8.24m (34.9%) viewers watched the final three contestants battle it out for the grand prize.

Also on ITV, The Chase: Celebrity Special attracted an audience of 3.3m (14.3%) at 7pm, while 3.7m (20.2%) watched Will Ferrell on The Jonathan Ross Show at 10.05pm.

Will Ferrell: 'Kanye wouldn't stop playing new album on Anchorman 2 set'

Will Ferrell has revealed that Kanye West played the cast a preview of his Yeezus album on the set of Anchorman 2.

The 'Bound 2' rapper, who has a cameo in the comedy sequel, is said to have brought a rough cut of his sixth studio album along with him when filming in May this year.

"It was very surreal to have Kanye - who's such a big fan of comedy - in our movie hanging out for two days," Ferrell told ITV's The Jonathan Ross Show.

"He was playing the new tracks a lot - over and over.

"Even when you're trying to film, he's playing the tracks."

Strictly Come Dancing quarter-final peaks at 11.3 million on BBC One

Strictly Come Dancing hit a peak audience of 11.3 million last night (December 7) during the quarter-finals of the BBC One dancing competition.

An average audience of 10.3m (44.7%) tuned in at 7.10pm to see the remaining six couples take to the dancefloor in a bid to win a place in the semi-final.

Over on ITV, The X Factor was up 640,000 from last week, with 8.29m (35.5%) watching Luke Friend, Sam Bailey, Rough Copy and Nicholas McDonald sing in the semi-final at 8.15pm.

Back to BBC One, Atlantis pulled in 4.07m (17.5%) at 8.15pm as the drama moves closer to the end of its first series, while Casualty attracted 3.37m (14.7%) at 9pm.

A quiet Saturday night on BBC Two saw the semi-final of the UK Snooker Championship bring in 890k (3.8%) at 7pm, followed by a repeat of Never Mind The Buzzcocks with panellists including Rita Ora and Labrinth, which attracted 520k (2.3%) at 9.30pm.

Tom Daley has spoken about his "terrifying decision" to post a YouTube video about his sexuality earlier this week.

Speaking on ITV's The Jonathan Ross Show, the diving star said that he "couldn't be happier" after revealing that he is dating a man.

Asked about his decision to speak about his relationship, the 19-year-old said: "It was a terrifying decision to make, I didn't know what the reaction was going to be like, I didn't know how it was going to go but I felt I needed to say something.

"I wanted to say something in my own words and from the heart, I didn't know what else to do.

"Right now I couldn't be happier, the support and reaction has been amazing, everyone has been so supportive and I just have to thank them," he continued.

ITV has unveiled highlights of the official listings for its Christmas and New Year schedules.

Downton Abbey, Birds of a Feather and the return of Benidorm are among the shows which now have transmission times.

On Saturday, December 21, ITV will kick off the Christmas week with Let's Do Christmas... with Gino & Mel at 12.30pm, while the evening will see Russell Grant, Liz McClarnon, Sherrie Hewson and Des O'Connor battling it out on The Chase Celebrity Special at 5.30pm. Elsewhere, Stephen Mulhern will host six of the world's top magicians as they perform for a star-studded crowd at the Hammersmith Apollo in The Illusionists, airing at 9.10pm.

Sunday, December 22 will see Coronation Street at 7pm, while Andrew Lloyd Webber will explore the Profumo sex scandal in Sex, Lies and a Very British Scapegoat at 10.30pm.

'Strictly Come Dancing' continues ratings success for BBC One

Strictly Come Dancing continued to pull in viewers for BBC One last night (November 30), topping the ratings once again, overnight data reveals.

The dancing competition dipped slightly from last week, but still attracted 10.2 million and an audience share of 42.9% when it aired at 7pm.

Over on ITV, The X Factor saw an increase from last week, bringing in 7.65m (32.2%), with a further 240,000 watching the singing show on +1.

Back on BBC One, Atlantis continued with 4.09m (17.4%) at 8.15pm, while long-running drama Casualty brought in 3.58m (15.3%) at 9pm.

BBC Two's Dad's Army pulled in 1.38m (5.62%) for the channel at 8pm. Earlier at 7pm former Rugby Union star Jonathan Davies's documentary Trimsaran Boy attracted 850k (3.64%).

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! topped ITV's primetime ratings with 7.77m (36.72%) at 9.45pm, while 2.6m (19.87%) watched The Jonathan Ross Show at 10.50pm, with guests including Joanna Lumley and Chris Tarrant.

The X Factor final is only two weeks away, but one of the remaining five contestants will fail to reach the epic heights scaled by Christopher Maloney, Eoghan Quigg, et al after falling victim to this week's 'Musical Heroes' special.

Olly Murs said that he would love to have a role in a future series of the X Factor.

Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, the 'Troublemaker' singer said that he'd be delighted if he was offered a role on the judging panel.

He said: "It would be incredible. I did the show in 2009, so I've pretty much done everything. I've been a contestant, I've been a presenter, I've cleaned, I've done everything.

Sir David Attenborough and Jamie Oliver will be among Jonathan Ross's guests on the festive edition of his chat show.

Attenborough will be promoting his new Sky 3D film, Natural History Museum Alive, which airs on New Year's Day.

Strictly Come Dancing ratings hit a series high last night (November 23) with a peak audience of 11.7 million.

The BBC One dancing competition attracted an average of 10.6m viewers and a 43.7% audience share when it aired on BBC One at 6.30pm.

Over on ITV, The X Factor has less success with 7.3m (27.21%) at 8pm, dropping 860,000 viewers since last week's show. A further 357k (1.47%) watched the singing show on +1.

Back on BBC One, the channel's successful night continued at 7.50pm, with 10.2m (37.4%) tuning in to the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special 'The Day of The Doctor'. Long-running medical drama Casualty brought in 4.16m (16.7%) at 9pm.

Over on BBC Two, Dad's Army attracted 1.43m (5.25%) at 8pm, while Horizon special 'Comet of the Century' brought in 1.45m (5.96%) at 9.15pm.

Jonathan Ross has landed an exclusive appearance from David Beckham for his TV show, the sports star's first TV interview since retiring from football.

Beckham's appearance will coincide with an interview from Will Ferrell, who will be giving his only UK TV interview to promote Anchorman 2 - The Legend Continues.
