Splendid supercooled satire of post-modern middle class
hgzeeklimaat@pandora.be29 August 2003
To be so permissive/tolerant that nothing is worth to be engaged in, has never been portrayed as funny. Alfred is perfect, good-looking middle-aged settled middle class person who realises himself in one day that his perfect world doesn't really interest him any more ('this is not my beautiful house, this is not my beautiful wife' as Talking Head sings, and no, my job or son aren't any better).
