Sex & Nudity

  • Visible nudity does not go beyond Kim Basinger's naked behind, but sexual intercourse and orgasms are depicted clearly and openly in three instances.

Violence & Gore

  • 7/10
  • Some fights, they aren't very graphic but are pretty intense.
  • The main character beats up his mum's boyfriend after the man pushes her. The boyfriend beats Rabbit to the floor and against several objects gets pretty rough.
  • A character accidentally shoots himself in the thigh. Although this is done for laughs, you see blood covering his pants and his hands --- he is on crutches, disabled for the rest of the movie.
  • A boy is jumped by a group of guys, while his sister watches, screaming in terrifying horror, not graphic, but still intense. He is punched and kicked. He has a severely bruised eye for the rest of the movie.
  • Thus again the Motion Picture Association of America still rates this "R" because the violence is really that bad, not graphic, but definitely intense
  • Rabbit is subject to hearing details of dissing women, the disabled, and the others.

Profanity

  • 10/10
  • Very strong language throughout. 191 uses of the F-word often used in rap lyrics. Some S-words, uses of nigger, ass, damn, religious exclamations and many others.
  • Also some sexual references.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • 5/10
  • Some use of marijuana, but nothing to suggest or even promote excessive use of narcotics.
  • A man is seen smoking a cigarette.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • 4/10
  • A boy is beaten by many thugs in front of his little sister whilst she is screaming through the window
  • Total - 32/50
