Patricio Etxebeste owns a beret-making factory. An important local figure, he is standing for mayor in the upcoming elections. What nobody knows is that he is completely ruined and can't even pay for his yearly holiday.
The movie is based on a real story that happened just before the beginning of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939): a children of an small town of the Basque Country saw appearances of the Virgin and a priest tried to film it. It's a well-made movie, the setting is very good and the director, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, has a lot of experience. Besides, the cast has some of the best Spanish actors: Eduardo Noriega, Íngrid Rubio, Karra Elejalde and Fernando Fernan-Gómez.
