Curtis' direction creates an evocative film of sparse native spirituality, without sentimentality.

Dream Storm is a movie, based on the long running series, North of 60. This mystery centres around a small native village, where unexplainable occurances have two of the towns folk trying to unravel their mystical viewings. Stacey Stewart Curtis' direction is both strangely evocative and lyrical. When combined with the sparse soundscape the film displays a sense of authentic native spirituality without becoming over sentimental.
