WWF Excess started out to be a good WWF Weekend show. When it first started they had Guest Wrestlers that answered questions from E-mail and call ins, hosts that were actually entertaining (Trish and Coach) and later (Terri and Coach) who were good also, and they had the "From the Vault" segments that were in many cases the best part of the show. Now since the "Draft" storyline (which is just plain stupid, I thought the whole Alliance thing was dumb, but this one takes the prize.)We have two sets of hosts which represent Smackdown for the first hour (Michael Cole and some other guy) and (Coach and Raven) the better of the two representing Raw. Having said that, they have decided to scrap the vault segments (a huge mistake!) and devote the entire two hours just going over what happened on each show during the week. The WWF shows have really went to hell since this new storyline. For example just having Stone Cold on Raw and Hollywood Hogan only on Smackdown is to put it nicely is a very dumb idea. If this is any indication of what's to come in the WWF, I'd hate to see the PPV events coming up this year, talk about really screwing things up the ones responsible for coming up with this mess should be fired. The only thing saving any of the WWF shows right now is Triple H, being one of the only two that can appear on both shows, he brings life into what has quickly became a second rate show. It's a shame they've taken the once great WWF, and turned it into nothing more than what WCW was.
