Better than last couple of years
12 February 2002 | by (Maine) – See all my reviews

All I have to say is that this show was much better than the last few preceeding it. The performers were more varied, there was a kind of music for everyone. Usually it's just pop and rap but they mixed in some rock with Staind and Linkin Park (Who did an excellent version of One Step Closer with the X-Ecutioners). Jamie Foxx was also a better (and funnier) host than the Wayans Brothers, but not nearly as good as Chris Rock. However, I have a hard time understanding how Lady Marmalade got best video.
