The Galactic Empire is Up to No Good. You Must Stop Them, But Use the Force!
17 November 2002 | by (U.S.A) – See all my reviews

The Rebel Alliance has relocated to the ice planet of Hoth, hoping they've finally evaded the Empire. Their leader, Luke Skywalker goes out to investigate a meteorite that had crashed nearby. Luke discovers that it was in fact an Imperial Probot that will send a message to the Empire that the Rebels are here so Luke must destroy it. Luke then explores a giant, treacherous ice cave. Watch out for Wampas! Luke must also cross an icy river and find all kinds of interesting items. Once out of the cave, Luke jumps in his snowspeeder to fight off an AT-AT Walker attack. Be careful! There are alot of them and if they shoot your ship down, run back and get another one. Watch out for Snowtroopers. They are plentiful as well.

That's about as far as I've gotten in the game, it's pretty difficult. The rest of the game pretty much follows the storylines of the movie: Luke ventures to Dagobah to learn the ways of the Force from Yoda, then he goes to Cloud City to rescue his friends and runs into Darth Vader. It's a pretty good game. The lightsaber makes a better enemy defeater than your blaster. I wonder how come they didn't make a Return of the Jedi game for Nintendo. They made a Super Return of the Jedi for Super Nintendo, but not regular. I don't know why, it would've been neat. Luke defeating Jabba the Hutt then going to Endor and to the Death Star to fight Darth Vader and the Emperor. Oh well. Anyway, this game is quite nice. I recommend it, if you can find it.
