Storyline
A fictionalized account of the young life of Hans Christian Andersen, a young man with a penchant for storytelling but struggles to find his place in the world and gain the affection of the woman he adores. Interspersed throughout are brief interludes of the stories that will make Hans famous (The Nightingale, The Little Mermaid and The Snow Queen to name a few), which are intertwined with the events that surround his own life. I thought I would never be able to find an entry on this site till now. I remembered this was shown here like two years ago or something on the television.
Growing up reading some of Hans Christian Andersen's works had definitely made me curious into watching this. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was like fairytale-like at times. I mean it in a good way and it's true.
Though being in my late teens, it's always such shows like this which will always bring me back to my childhood days.
Quite enchanting with those characters as well. Amazing.
