Captain Thunderpants (1999)
The Angry Kid is alone in the back seat of the car as his dad heads down the motorway listening to boring music. "My tape, dad, my tape," the Kid pleads, begs, and wheedles. Dad gives in and pops the Kid's tape into the deck: it's Captain Thunderpants, sort of a punk rocker, singing lines like, "Stew my foot and call me Brenda." The Kid is transformed, singing along, producing a horn and squeezing the bulb. He's out of control, and dad may put his foot down (on the brake). Can the Kid, his dad, the car, and Captain Thunderpants all carry on, or will some part of this partnership break down?- Written by <email@example.com>
