A Great Japanese comic and anime series, it is a shame that the anime was never finished.

I love this anime and Japanese comic series. It is a shame that the anime series was never finished due to poor ratings in Japan. I am just happy that the anime series was at least appreciated in Europe were it was a huge hit in countries like Germany, France, Italy, Spain etc...I just hope that in the future the Japanese comic and anime series will be translated in English so that others who do not know Japanese or have never heard of the anime or Japanese Comic series can learn and appreciate this great series. The series have a little bit of everything: Romance, competition and life changing events. So far the Japanese comic series has been reissued in Japan and has been released in Italy with the name "La Legenda di Hikari". Hopefully it will be released in the United States some day soon. The anime was also released in France on DVD. So hopefully it will be released in the United States someday. And I hope is soon.
