Outsiders battle! and the worst main event ever!
10 September 2001 | by (Nashville, TN) – See all my reviews

ok well this wasn't the best Summerslam but it had it's moments. A historical battle between future NWO leaders Kevin Nash and Scott Hall took place on this night, and the late great Walter Payton is in Razor's corner. A huge swerve that actually fooled people happened in the Tatanka vs Lex Luger match. Other matches of the night were the Headshrinkers vs IRS & Bigelow, Alundra Blayze vs Bull Nakano, Jeff Jarrett vs Mabel, and a good but sometimes boring cage match with Bret and Owen Hart which exceeded the 30 minute mark! But this Summerslam will be forever remembered and hurt by the worst main event in the history of pro wrestling as Paul Bearer's Undertaker took on Ted Dibiase's Undertaker, this match was so horrible and so boring and so silly it should have never took place.
