Simple and fun, just like the TV show

It would be difficult to write anything negative about this film.

Little Bear is a great show for young children. It teaches lessons but is never gratuitously educational. Its calm and peaceful tone doesn't annoy adults. It simply does it's job.

Little Bear does seem to step up his game in this full-length movie. Telling a story with a greater conflict than usual, bringing out the best of the characters and sharing with the audience some wonderful moments. It's not an amazing movie but that's because, like the show, this movie is simple and that's really all you need.

A wonderful sweet movie that is great for children and adults. Little Bear and his friends help his new friend "Cub" find his parents. Along the way they go through many adventures. My children and I love this movie.

This is a beautiful little film and is perfect for young children (though I still watch it myself sometimes)! It has good quality animation, for that style, and a nice, gentle plot.

Genre:

Children, animation

Duration:

One hour and fifteen mintues

What was this film/show/game about?:

Little Bear meets another bear in the wilderness, and he tries to help him cope to bears who wear clothes.

The story and the production overview notes:

A very nice, wholesome movie. No annoying songs, with just a pure to the point story of heart.

It's like the show, but they add new characters from a new universe.

Overall:

A nice simple movie. Toddlers may enjoy. Its just we are in a new era of children and shows like this lack entertainment stimuli. They might be able to sit for 20 minutes.

Highlight:

Little bear going face to face with a mountain lion.

Moral:

Use your time and energy to help others.

Villain:

N/A. People m,ay say the mountain lion but the lion needs to eat just like Little Bear ate the fish... Sooo....

Punny Rating:

A little good movie

Final Words:

Very warm film.

It might not be Disney at all but this film feels like Disney. The Little Bear Movie is a beautifully animated and perfectly balanced film with good old fashioned storytelling at its finest. Every part of this film glows with beauty. From the background paintings to the animation everything about this movie shows the pinnacle of hand drawn animation. It's animated just like a 50s Disney film and everything feels genuine. Even the voice casting is excellent with Kristin Fairlie providing the perfect voice for the main character to all the other voice actors who do a fantastic job of acting. Warmly written it's an endearing story and a perfect film that can be watched year round. From the Flapjack scene to Pudding Hill to a wolf howling and the sounds of nature The Little Bear Movie is truely one of a kind film and is the perfect piece of heaven from an animated movie.
