Wildly popular TV talk show host Bobby Bishop has a nervous breakdown during an on-camera interview with a pop starlet, with whom he makes a rather crude observation and offer. This lapse of taste sets off a series of scandals in his off-camera life, which his beleaguered agent is helpless to stop. Desperate for love, Bobby rushes to New York City to find his former girlfriend, Lily, who doesn't even like his show, and neither does her cross-dressing boyfriend. Can true love straighten out the messes that are these folks' lives? Written by Schleppy

Did You Know?

Bobby: Lily, don't disappear.
Lily: Why, why, because you're the only one who can disappear? You're in my fucking living room five nights a week, don't talk to me about disappearing!
Bobby: Four nights. We repeated on Monday.
Lily: No, No, I know that because I even watch that. That's how fucking pathetic I am.
Bobby: The show's good.
Lily: The least you can do, if you're gonna leave me... is leave me. You have to become a part of pop culture, in my fucking living room five nights a week!
Bobby: Oh, oh, excuse me! Excuse me for being ...

very poor
22 May 2004 | by (Lodz,Poland) – See all my reviews

this is a very poor romantic comedy. it was not very romantic and also not very funny.and Vincent Gallo really annoyed me with gestures, appearance and his voice.Courteney Cox looks very nice as always but she can't do much to save this movie because it just lacks a good screenplay.the story isn't really interesting, the love story isn't much believable as the characters constantly find a new problem why they can't be together when you thought there was none. they love each other, we know it, and they know it but they try to make the film to last a little longer than an hour. and Gallo whining all the time is really horrible. I don't know maybe it's me but I found him very, very annoying in this flick.happy end is of course just a matter of time but the characters try to make the way leading to it as long and as pseudo-philosophical as they can. It is a watchable movie, it has Courteney Cox but that's really everything. if you have a sleepless night and you find it airing on cable it can be a good time killer.
