Surprising acting and great theme song!
30 May 2005 | by (Singapore) – See all my reviews

I should recommend this to fans of the 2 main cast, Tsubasa and Ken Miyake. Well, also the Johnny Jrs who also acted in this drama. Neverland actually attracted me in the first place by its title.

When you thought that this drama is going to be alittle light-hearted, you are somewhat wrong. The drama is quite dark, even if almost all the casts are young. A few high school boys who did not went home during vacation, however decided to spend their vacation at the hostel. And they started to know more about each other's life, mostly linked with their parents (the reason why they rather spend vacation in school hostel).

I actually never imagine the drama to be like this, but I just follow the vcd episode one by one. Tsubasa did well, and this drama was said to be Ken Miyake's great work. The Jrs did surprised me, especially for the boy who has heart disease, and the other 'bad' guy who has dark secret. i agree that the actors are good even though they are no 'big names' in Japan drama making.

Last of all, the theme song by V6, 'dasenai tegami' is just great for this drama. A very nice ballad that I recommend to everyone, and if you did watch this drama for one or a few episodes, i strongly urge you to finish it up. :)
