The series is centered around the exploits of two young children-the optimistic, dim-witted, and kindhearted Billy, and the dark, ill-tempered, sinister, and very intelligent Mandy. After cheating at a limbo match against the Grim Reaper (out of retaliation for putting the limbo rod too low for them to go under), he is enslaved in a perpetual, unwanted friendship with the children, who use his magical abilities and supernatural powers to venture into supernatural locations or environments, such as the underworld, inhabited by an assortment of grotesque monstrous beasts. The pair also may use Grim's enormously strong supernatural abilities or ties with a number of beastly characters to achieve goals or desires for themselves with grotesque, altered, or twisted end results. Famed fictional monsters including Dracula, the Wolfman, and the bogeyman are also comically depicted in the series, which also includes the characters of the nerdy, awkward Irwin and the snobby, stuck-up, spoiled ... The show started as a short film made by creator Maxwell Atoms back in 1996. The film is about Billy wanting his inner demons out of him and Mandy wanting to saw him in half and Grim would emerge during the process. The film has not emerged since it's in a film roll according to Atoms. But there is a picture of what the film looked like, Billy looks pretty much the same but Mandy has major differences than her appearance in the show: she has pig tails, she has an evil smile, and she has a nose. weird. but it is, in a good kind of way. I watched it and it is really funny, both parts of the show are really funny. I kind of like it better than the Powerpuff Girls. I hope the show becomes more popular 'cause it is one of the best new cartoons. I have to admit that there is some gross stuff like the bear's butt. That is mostly why its so funny. Don't listen to some people who say it sucks because it dosn't. There is no cheesy animation it has a clever plot. Those few people just don't have a really good sense of humor. So if you've never watched it before, WATCH IT!! If you like to laugh this cartoon show is for you.
