The offbeat adventures of Courage, a cowardly dog who must overcome his own fears to heroically defend his unknowing farmer owners from all kinds of dangers, paranormal events and menaces that appear around their land.
The series is centered around the exploits of two young children-the optimistic, dim-witted, and kindhearted Billy, and the dark, ill-tempered, sinister, and very intelligent Mandy. After cheating at a limbo match against the Grim Reaper (out of retaliation for putting the limbo rod too low for them to go under), he is enslaved in a perpetual, unwanted friendship with the children, who use his magical abilities and supernatural powers to venture into supernatural locations or environments, such as the underworld, inhabited by an assortment of grotesque monstrous beasts. The pair also may use Grim's enormously strong supernatural abilities or ties with a number of beastly characters to achieve goals or desires for themselves with grotesque, altered, or twisted end results. Famed fictional monsters including Dracula, the Wolfman, and the bogeyman are also comically depicted in the series, which also includes the characters of the nerdy, awkward Irwin and the snobby, stuck-up, spoiled ... [regarding Eris, who is kissing Hoss Delgado]
I can't believe I used to have a crush on her, back when she was in that "Valley Girl" phase.
I think we'd all like to forget that phase.

A clever show about two obnoxious children, accompanied by the Grim Reaper as their "best friend."
This show is one of the most hilarious cartoons I have ever seen! The only drawback is the sometimes violent and/or disgusting humor, so if you are uncomfortable about your children being exposed to that, it's probably a bad idea to allow them to watch this. Mandy is brilliantly voiced, and has an incredibly violent sense of humor. She frequently insults everybody, including her parents and other adults. Billy, on the other hand, is a happy-go-lucky idiot. In one episode, he remarks, "I guess nothing really gets to me." to which Mandy replies, "You know what they say: Ignorance is bliss." All in all, it's a wonderful show and Maxwell Atoms is a genius.I give it nine out of ten stars! Thumbs UP!
