The WWF finally did something they should have been doing in ppv's for the past 2 years, they finally let the matches have time to flow and didn't do a whole lot of talking and backstage segments, plus they announced 8 matches and kept it at 8 matches so luckily nothing was rushed. Summerslam for some reason seems to be good every single year and this year was no exception. In Match 1 Lance Storms defends the ic title against Edge. Match 2 is the Dudley Boys & Test vs the Acolytes & Spike, this may have been the best match of the night it had a ton of action and the ending is just awesome, brutal match. Match 3 was the title vs title match as X-Pac took on Tajiri and the winner goth both the WCW and WWF light weight titles. Match 4 is Chris Jericho taking on Rhyno, a pretty good match and it's funny to see the 2 really bad spots Jericho misses. Match 5 is RVD vs Jeff Hardy, which was probably match of the night, Jeff defended the hardcore title for the first time ever in a ladder match. Match 6 is Undertaker and Kane vs Kanyon & DDP which wasn't that great. Match 7 is Stone Cold vs Kurt Angle, this was a very good brutal bloody match but had a very pathetic and disappointing ending to it. And the main event was very disappointing as Booker T defended his WCW title against the Rock, this ppv still had a lot of good wrestling on it so every wrestling fan has to see this ppv.
