Thankfully on TV
ScottFM116 September 2003
Having been trapped in a non-English speaking area for a couple of weeks I was channel surfing looking for something that at least looked good and came across this and it was in English with Malay subtitles.

WOW what a great show!! It was the first thing I had seen that I could understand!

But, had I seen it in the US I think I would not have watched it again. It is definetly a teenaged girl show and an OK one a that.

It's a start

While this show isn't perfect it does give me some hope. As the mother of a pre-teen girl I can attest that there is a dearth of shows that address the issues she is facing or will be facing soon. My daughter has added this to her list of favorite shows along with "Braceface" and "As Told By Ginger".

It is Definitely a kid show

This is a half hour Saturday morning-moral-teaching kids show; please don't forget to mention that, its market is the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, N'Sync market, don't degrade it for that. It is definitely "Saved By The Bell", "California Dreams", and "Hang Time" quality and that is all we ask for, a feel good kid sitcom. You go in expecting a moral issue, a song, and a happy ending and that is what you get. As a matter of fact they do things that normal high school girls do-fight over boys and argue with each other and figure out how to do the right thing. It almost seems to be as though it was created to showcase Alicia Elliot's talent-though I cannot say that this is true, she is a wonderful singer (her Debut album is Country-I'm Diggin It) If I was a parent I would rather my pre-teen kids see this on Saturday morning than old Road Runner cartoons! HAVE A LITTLE FUN WILL YA!

Teenage Sex & the City Clone

NBC's attempt at a Saturday morning version of Sex & the City aimed at a teenage audience. The plot concerns four girls and their daily lives in a Chicago high school. However, the show flounders heavily with unfunny jokes, poor writing, and less than appealing characters.

I was at the gym one day and this horrible excuse for a show was on, and i wasn't able to change the channel!!. Ridiculously predictable and horribly written the show made me want to poke my eyes out with ice picks. Man o man has Fred savage sunk to the bottom of his career with is one!!
