Storyline

The sequel to the blockbuster hit Nadodikkattu (1987). Just six months after the events of the prequel, C.I.D. Ramdas (Mohanlal) and C.I.D. Vijayan (Srinivasan) are called to Kerala to find the murderer of a police officer. The two incompetent and clueless men find themselves facing a dangerous crime syndicate that deals in drug trafficking. In addition, Anandan Nambiar (Thilakan), the man they put behind bars in Nadodikkattu (1987), escapes from jail. Pattana Pravesham is a well-scripted mix of light comedy and poignant drama, just like its prequel. Another Malayalam classic from director Sathyan Anthikad.

A Befitting Laugh Riot Sequel to the Original

Vijayan and Dasan aka Srini and Mohanlal with their brilliant comic timings and natural acting styles makes this movie a befitting laugh riot sequel to the original - Nadodikattu, with the same pair. The pair have proved again that Malayalam Cinema produces one of the best and clean comedy in the country. They both have acted in many malayalam movies leaving their own individual mark, which will stay for many decades.

In the movie both returns to Kerala as investigating officers and the hilarious events that leads them to solve the cases. The best character I liked was that of the Birdwatcher. He was really cool. The scene in the restaurant is the best.
