John Carradine "appears" in many movies released after his death, but I guess it's now been long enough where he didn't get credited for this one, after all it's only his severed head, which didn't look remotely real. I was not at all sure what to expect of this but holy cow, Ted V. Mikels in the year 2002, still cranking out Z-grade trash of the highest caliber. What struck me as the most funny was hoards of Astro Zombies with machetes taking to the streets, running along, and their masks actually make them look happy as they slaughter their way through the populace. I guess it's not any big surprise that more than 30 years after the original Astro Zombies was made that Tura Satana would be fat and old looking, but she still has that evil look about her, maybe she always did. This also has Brinke Stevens & Liz Renay. Anyway, it was hard to get into this right away watching it right on the heels of the original, but it still has a certain schlocky charm to it that you don't find much these days. Maybe that's not a bad thing.
