- Most of the "fictitious" wrestlers in this game from EWF and DAW are actually based on real non-WCW wrestlers, mostly from Japan. For instance, AKI/THQ Man is actually Mitsuharu Misawa, Jekel is Dr. Death Steve Williams, and Hon Zo Mon is Hayabusa. The names and appearances were changed so that WCW wouldn't have to pay the individuals or the wrestling promotions they belonged to.
