Gage Blackwood (Jerry Rector and the player) of the Temporal Security Agency must go back in time to the lost cities of Atlantis, El Dorado, and Shangri La to save the world from hostile aliens outside of the galactic protectorate, the Symbiotry. In the process, he discovers that the founders of the Symbiotry, along with the present day invaders, have played an integral role in the destruction of the three lost cities. In this game, your primary objective is to retrieve three pieces of the Sosequi Legacy from the lost cities. Along the way, you'll meet up with all kinds of people from the past including Genghis Khan. Matt Weinhold does an excellent job doing the voice for Arthur, Gage's hilarious A.I. sidekick. Arthur: Call me time-space happy, but I swear that looks like Dr. Elliot Sinclair, the scientist who invented time travel - the guy you put away for 10 - 20 at Vega Thalon! He could be Sinclair's distant cousin! And you know what that means - baldness *is* hereditary.

Beautiful combination of ancient history, imagination and virtual reality.
3 October 2002 | by (Utrecht, Holland) – See all my reviews

Legacy of Time takes the player thro' the ancient and magical history of earth re-created by artists' imagination. Much attention has been paid in details of making the virtual ancient cities, building, walls, paintings, characters, etc. look as realistic as possible. This all combined with a not too difficult adventure puzzles makes this game unique in its kind. The magic of LoT is not in solving mind teasing the-more-difficult-the-better puzzles but in artistic values and great imagination.
