Joan Jett at her best!
Joan is in her prime and at her peak in every way here- physically, musically, emotionally (she seemed less guarded in this era). I love it!
If you like good music, you should like this- all her songs are good, if not great! No-one has a catalogue as listenable as hers, despite the fact that outside her hardcore fans, most only know a couple of her radio hits. But seriously, every song she's ever been involved with is good!
And if you like strong, beautiful women, you should watch this, as Joan totally owns the stage here! I've seen this multiple times, and it simply doesn't get old- which sums up Joan Jett's appeal perfectly.
Shoutout to the sexy 1990s (1998 was when this was actually filmed). Thank you for giving us this concert of ultra sexy blonde, beautiful, feminine yet androgynous Joan Jett!
Note that the standard DVD version of this concert edited it down to just an hour when it was originally a good bit longer, and songs like "Friend to Friend" and "Love is All Around" have been inexplicably shortened, which is annoying, as they are fabulous songs! But, other than that, I totally recommend this concert! It's one of the only concerts I've ever wanted to watch over and over again. I love you, Joan!
