Paradise: Love – Ulrich Seidl
Buzz: While part of the elite class of filmmakers who’ve attained Main Competition status (now for a second time), I still feel that the Dog Days and Import/Export helmer Ulrich Seidl is sort of an anomaly amongst his peers. Having worked on his sex tourism trilogy for the better parts of 2009 to 2011, this mixes a cast of professionals and non-actors in factual settings.
Guest: Inspired by Ödön von Horváth’s 1932 play Faith, Hope and Charity, the first part in a trilogy, on Kenya’s beaches they are known as “sugar mamas”: European women who seek out African boys selling love to earn a living. Teresa, a 50-year-old Austrian woman, travels to this vacation paradise. “Paradise: Love” tells of older women and young men, of Europe and Africa, and of the exploited, who end up exploiting others.

It’s Rumba Week at “Dancing with the Stars.”
Officially, it’s Personal Story Week, when the stars interpret memorable years of their lives with their (ideally, extended) arms and legs and (elegant) faces. However, this overwhelmingly means rumbas, and tonight, we’ll see five of them. Last season’s installment featured the emotional high point of the fall, a rumba from J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff about the injuries he incurred while fighting in Iraq, »

Florence + the Machine's MTV Unplugged performance will receive its online premiere later this month. The Florence Welch-fronted band performed a 10-song set for MTV Unplugged in New York last year. The episode will debut online on April 8. The performance includes the group's most popular hits, such as 'Dog Days Are Over', 'No Light, No Light' and 'Shake It Out'. It also features a cover of Otis Redding's 'Try a Little Tenderness' and a duet with Queens of the Stone Age star Josh Homme, who performs the Johnny Cash and June Carter classic 'Jackson' with Welch. The most frustrating portion of The Voice has finally (¡finally!) come to an end — and to celebrate, I’ve composed a little ditty to the tune of Florence + The Machine’s “Dog Days Are Over”:
The Battle Rounds are over!
The Battle Rounds are done!
The Live Shows are coming!
Let’s vote, everyone!
Vote fast for Team Adam, vote fast for X-tina
Vote for Blake Shelton, ’cause you know he’s not a wiener
Cee-Lo’s white cat, it is purring beside you
Dude wears daytime pajamas and yes, sometimes he cries, too

Do you harbor dreams of being the next loser of XFactor to get a multi-platinum selling album, like Jls or One Direction? Well, the first step on that spiralling road to ego-fuelled self-destruction and branded condoms is embracing your ability to sing good pop songs, and the best way to do that in the privacy of your own home is through Sing Sims like the We Sing! franchise.
The latest karaoke-like title to land will be We Sing Pop! which will be released on the 23rd March, exclusively for Wii, and which boasts 23 UK numbers ones within its 30 track list, from artists including Adele, Jessie J and Florence + The Machine.
Here’s the launch trailer:

Nordic Games has today unveiled the final songs to be added to the We Sing Pop! tracklist, available exclusively on the Wii on the 23rd March 2012. So without further ado we can now reveal that the final line up of tracks will include:
Girls Just Want to Have Fun, the first hit record to come from Cyndi Lauper. Released in 1983, it is a signature song of the 1980s and is bound to be a massive hit with girls playing We Sing Pop! together with four microphones. Originally written for a man, Cyndi Lauper changed the lyrics slightly to convey female solidarity in a playful way. Dog Days Are Over by Florence + The Machine was the second single to be released from their debut album Lungs. The song is featured on NMEs 2011 Top 150 on the last 15 years, beginning with an intricate acoustic intro and building to a crescendo with the power of Florence Welsh’s voice. »

The Voice is different from the other 47 reality singing competitions on TV right now “because it puts vocal ability first,” host Carson Daly boasted during Sunday night’s post-Super Bowl season premiere.
Of course, The Voice also stands out for a few other reasons: it puts Carson in a Kia (instead of an ominous 18-wheeler, like X Factor‘s Steve Jones, or turning him into Ford’s plaything, a la Ryan Seacrest); it doesn’t believe in giving airtime to ham sandwiches with no discernable singing talent; and it isn’t afraid to expose seven-eighths of Christina Aguilera’s heaving »
