Second Season of Ash Vs. Evil Dead To Add Ash’s Father & Linda to The Mix; Full Trailer Released!!

19 July 2016 2:45 PM, PDT | iconsoffright.com | See recent Icons of Fright news »

The first season of the Starz series, Ash Vs. Evil Dead was one hell of a ride, throwing fans of the Evil Dead series right into a blood soaked return of one of the best anti-heroes around, Ash Williams, along with establishing a new take on the mythology of the series. It was one of the rare cases of returning to a series and character that fans love and adore, and actually staying faithful to the spirit of what made Sam Raimi’s films so wonderful. Left with a cliffhanger of a finale that in my opinion, actually made you Want more Soon, the series is now returning for its second season, which from the sound of it, is sure to be another fun time. We’ve got a photo from the upcoming second season, as well as a rundown on what to expect. Read on!

Check out this Kick-Ash "Banned From Comic-con" Trailer for 'Ash Vs Evil Dead'!

19 July 2016 2:21 PM, PDT | LatinoReview | See recent LatinoReview news »

There's something a bit special about the history of the Evil Dead franchise. It was a horror movie series that started out as a straight low budget horror before transitioning into a full-on comedy with Army Of Darkness

With the Starz series, Ash Vs Evil Dead, they took measures to embrace that ridiculous horror-comedy aspect, all while playing off the Bruce Campbell-ness of its leading man, Bruce Campbell. The series was genuinely well-received by fans of the original franchise, and with this second season, they look to take it to the next level.

Check out the new, "banned from Comic-Con" trailer below!

Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season One Heading to Behead you on August 23rd

While we’re all anxiously waiting for the second season of Starz’ Ash Vs. Evil Dead to arrive this fall, the gang over at Anchor Bay is sending the Epic first season your way, when it hits DVD/Bluray on August 23rd! After the cliffhanger-like finale of season one, I for one, am both excited and on the edge of my seat, waiting for the continuation of the series, this upcoming seasons featuring Lee Majors (!) playing Ash’s father!

Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

‘Austin Powers 4’ may still happen, says director

23 May 2016 11:33 PM, PDT | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

The last Austin Powers movie, Austin Powers in Goldmember was released fourteen years ago, and while we all thought that the franchise was officially done following a very successful trilogy, it seems that a fourth film may still happen.

The films’ series producer Jay Roach commented to Larry King that an Austin Powers 4 is still being considered.

Here’s what he had to say: “You know, Mike Myers and I talk about it every time we get together. I would say it’s in a latent phase right now, but someday if we find the right idea that seems to have it earn itself, for sure. Mike gave me the break of a lifetime in letting me direct [Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery] so I’m always good to go.”

Wow. The last we heard was that a potential plot man actually revolve around Dr. Evil and his son Scott (Seth Green) and would »

'Neighbors 2' Was Inspired by This Pixar Sequel

8 April 2016 11:03 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

The summer movie season is always chocked full of sequels and remakes, and this year is no different. Next month, Universal will bring back Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne) in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, where this married couple squares off against a sorority that movies in next door, right when they're trying to sell their house. Yahoo! Movies recently caught up with co-writer and director Nick Stoller, who teased that he found some surprising inspiration in an unexpected source: the Pixar sequel Toy Story 2.

"I looked at the Toy Story movies as inspiration. If the first Neighbors is a dumb, gross, R-rated Toy Story, this is like a dumb, gross, R-rated Toy Story 2. Each of the Toy Storys are telling an emotional story, but they're comedic. They're so successful creatively in terms of the stories they're telling. And they're pretty grounded"

'Ash Vs. Evil Dead' Season 2 First Look Has Ash Throwing a Kegger

TVInsider has shared the epic first photo, which shows one big kegger going on down in Florida. We don't yet have an officially premiere date for Ash's return. Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2 will pick up right where Season 1 left off. Bruce Campbell's titular hero has left the world of killing Deadites behind. Now, he is living it up in the Florida Keys. And what better way to do that than with a huge kegger on the beach. In this sneak peek, we get to see Ash using his chainsaw hand to slice through the beer keg.
