I'm Proud of this!
20 February 2011 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

When I was a kid, I saw this in the video store every time wondering what the hell this was about. I used to think that it would be all about these icons fighting each other and then only one surviving. Boy, I was wrong about that. Instead it turns out to be a compilation of 17 famous slashers, hackers, etc (do I need to say more!?).

When I picked it up last year, I thought well it's a compilation and it's gonna suck! Once again, I was freakin wrong! All I'm going to say is when I watched this DVD, it inspired me to watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Leprechaun, Halloween, The Dentist, Psycho, Hellrasier, Wishmaster, Scream & I Know what you did Last Summer. For me it was really inspiring because I had never heard nor never seen most of them before.

It was at that stage where I only liked Chucky, Freddy & Jason and I never really wanted anything else to do with Horror. These days, it's now changed. I'm really glad I watched this, and now own the DVD because now I can remember all of the good times watching Leatherface or Michael Myers in action on the screen for the first time.

I will have to admit that some of those other characters didn't look that interesting but oh well.

I will say that if you haven't seen this yet, you should definitely go to your video store right now and borrow it and if you can ever buy it for under $6.00, I suggest you swipe it. It inspires you to watch Icons that you've never seen before on the screen. I loved it because it inspired me to get into horror more.

One more thing, the bonus features are fun and you might want to give that a try as well as some trailers that you might not have seen.
