24 horas is a funny, fast paced, cynic vision of Argentina. Shot in 1997, by Luis Barone, this film features extraordinary actor and musician Ruben Rada. Rada 'steals' the movie as the cook in a run down bar at a gas station in Buenos Aires. In the format of a thriller that includes drug dealers, children kidnapers, and corrupt officers, this excellent movie featuring one of the best soundtracks in Argentine cinema,is an accurate x-ray of the country.
This odd film also features a strange and delirious appearance by Jorge Pinchevsky, legendary rock and roll violinist.
Difficult to grab, don't miss it if you ever see it on a shelf.
