It’s been a rough few months for Britain’s royal family. In mid-January, it was revealed that the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) had abdominal surgery, which required a lengthy hospital stay and recovery time at home. Days after Kate’s operation, King Charles was admitted to the same London hospital and underwent a procedure for an enlarged prostate. It was announced 10 days later that tests found the monarch had cancer and he began receiving treatment.
Now, with two working royals out of commission, the family is feeling the effects of its new slimmed-down monarchy.
It’s been reported that Prince Harry was open to coming back to help shoulder some of the workload but because of his strained relationship with some of his relatives and trust issues, the duke was told his services were not needed. However, some feel that royals like Prince William and...

With The Voice not returning to screens until January, Ricky Wilson has put his free time to good use by recording the Zig & Zag theme tune.
Ricky teamed up with his Kaiser Chiefs bandmate Simon Rix to record the song for the puppet duo's upcoming Cbbc return.
Written by original creators Ciarán Morrison and Mick O'Hara - who also voice the titular characters - the new Zig & Zag show will follow the pair as they wreak havoc in the suburbs after crash landing on Earth.
Coronation Street star Debra Stephenson is also involved in the series, which will run for 26 episodes next spring.
Zig and Zag have been around for absolutely ages, having made their debut on Irish TV way back in 1987.
UK viewers will remember them from The Big Breakfast back in the 90s, and more recently on Big Brother's Little Brother in 2010.

"Your Saturday night starts right here!"
Eight years ago, BBC iPlayer didn't exist, the iPhone hadn't been released and the first series of Mad Men was just hitting our screens.
Basically, it was a bloody long time ago.
And it was in 2007 that Dermot O'Leary began hosting The X Factor.
After proving himself to be the best thing (well, the only thing) about Big Brother's Little Brother, we were thrilled that he had signed up to the ITV behemoth.
Almost instantly, Dermot brought so many facets to the X Factor stage that we fell in love with. Some serious, some… not so much.
From the get go, Dermot delivered a tone and charisma to the job that is inimitable. His slight irreverence and anarchy was a welcome antidote to the often po-faced seriousness of the judges. Yes, Kelly Rowland, that means you.
What Dermot did so well was give the show a pinch of knowingness.

Dermot O'Leary has said that signing on to the dole left him feeling embarrassed.
In his new autobiography Dermot O'Leary: The Soundtrack To My Life, the presenter recalled how his TV career got off to a slow start in the late '90s, as he struggled to find work.
"I was by now broke and whilst I've never shied away from hard graft, I was forced to go on the dole for a few weeks as I looked for relevant work," O'Leary reveals in the book.
"For me it was the most degrading, embarrassing, introspective, self-doubting time of my life. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but for the impact it had on me, I wouldn't change a minute of it."
He added: "I told no-one about it. It was the shame I felt going to sign on every two weeks and the look of resignation on the faces around me.

Andy Pandy
One of the leading children's characters of the early 1950s, Andy Pandy's 26 episodes were shown continuously until 1970, when a new series was made. The sweet marionette and his friends Teddy and Looby Loo lived in a picnic basket, and chilled out to the dulcet tones of Maria Bird. A new stop-motion series returned in 2002.
Animal
One of the best-loved Muppets, Animal is a drummer for the band Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. He's surely up there with Dave Grohl, John Bonham and Ringo Starr as also one of the best-loved drummers of all time. Despite having a limited vocabulary,...

TV presenter Emma Willis has claimed that having a baby put her life into perspective. The Big Brother's Little Brother host, who had daughter Isabelle in June last year, said that she no longer worries about problems to do with work or her weight since giving birth. Willis, who is hosting this year's Britain's Next Top Model Live event, told Digital Spy: "That job you worried about getting, the shoes that you wanted, that bit of fat on your arse, it goes out of the window when you have a baby, "You just think, 'It's all about my baby from now'. You just think, 'F**k this man, nothing is that important'." When asked about the controversy surrounding plus size models on Britain's Next Top Model, Willis said: "It's an individual thing and you've got to hope that these (more)...

George Lamb has promised the last series of 'Big Brother's Little Brother' will be ''revolutionary''. The TV hunk admits the daily episodes will be different from the usual format, with no audience and new co-host Emma Willis. He said: ''The start of the last series of 'Big Brother' - more importantly of 'Bblb'. It's going to be different from anything you've seen before. The big boss man, Phil Edgar Jones, told everybody that if you've seen it before put it in the bin, start again, think naturally, think differently. Everything you're going to see - the set, how we do the show, there's ..

The baby of the Baldwin acting clan was a 'badly behaved dumb jock' until he found the Lord. Now, days after his eviction from Celebrity Big Brother, he tells Miranda Sawyer about his 18 tattoos and how he saw the devil in two of his housemates
Stephen Baldwin, 43, has 18 tattoos. "They represent various moments in my life," he says. "Whether it be showing my love for my woman in a very macho way – there are three of those – to the ones which express my commitment to sobriety. I have one for my children. The 3.30 one on the back of my neck is the time I'm supposed to be home! No, it's a scripture in the Bible that I feel compelled to remind myself of: John 3.30. "I must decrease so that he may increase." It's about consciousness of humility. I'm walking this walk and my life has nothing to do with my perception of the world.
