Its currently the best music DVD I currently have my hands on, and for good reason. Jeff Buckley and his cohorts manage to pull a complete repertoire in 90-odd minutes, while with a few notable exemptions - 'Corpus Christi Carol' for instance would have been awesome - it couldn't have been more a fulfilling outline of Buckley's creative virtuosity at the probable peak of his short-lived (and excruciatingly promising) career.
The picture quality present on the DVD is pretty much crystal-clear, the audio is of a mindblowing furniture-rattling depth, whether that be bare-bones stereo or Dolby Surround, and the extras while largely minimal, pushes the DVD onto further much appreciable levels -- the Grace EPK, *supposedly* previously unreleased (I had actually seen it a few years back), delves into Buckley's driving motives and influences and how he had come to the point of recording his breakthrough album. The two studio acoustic recordings ('Last Goodbye' 'So Real') are perfect counter-balances to the raw soaring energy present in the Chicago concert.
Overall, the closest one will get to experiencing Buckley's transcending sounds live, without actually having been there, and the rubbish spouted randomly between songs is non-stop pure gold ( "Get on top of my coffin, woman" ).
