Another day, another explanation from David Arquette after talking to Howard Stern. A day after the actor's third on-air conversation with the shock jock since separating from Courteney Cox, Arquette took to Twitter to clarify a few things, starting with his joke about having a "nervous breakdown." "It is being reported that I'm having a Nervous Breakdown. I assure you am not. This stemmed from a joke I made on The Howard Stern Show and like many things in the Media it was mis-reported and sensationalized," Arquette tweeted today. It's hard to believe anyone thought the Scream star was having a clinical breakdown rather than just jabbering on more about his self-described sorry »

New York - The Howard Stern Show's final live broadcast on Sirius Xm Radio under the shock jock's current contract is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17, and the two sides continue to negotiate a possible extension, according to Stern's producer.
"Howard is negotiating, but we've never gone this far before," Stern show producer Gary Dell'Abate said in an appearance on radio station Wfan's Boomer & Carton show on Friday, according to radio industry news site Fmqb. "I've never gone down to the wire like this and everybody is nervous, including me."
Dell'Abate added that Stern wants "to continue here at satellite radio, but if it doesn't work out, the one thing he said is, 'I want to continue to do radio.'"
Sirius Xm CEO Mel Karmazin on his firm's recent earnings conference call said the had no update on the Stern situation beyond saying that discussions continue.

Robin Quivers is known for her sense of humor as co-host of "The Howard Stern Show," but when she ran and completed the New York City Marathon a few weeks ago, she knew her accomplishment was no laughing matter. "Whew, it was much harder than I thought it would be, but I can't believe I did it," she said during a recent phoner with Essence.com »

Radio host Howard Stern has branded Larry King a "loser" after the retiring CNN newscaster mocked his chances of replacing him at CNN. King previously told Steppin' Out magazine that Stern's style of comedy was "not tasteful" and appealed to "the least common denominator". He also dismissed the Sirius Xm DJ as "worthless" and an unworthy successor. The Howard Stern Show host later insulted King in an interview with the New York Daily News. (more) »

“There’s a sucker born every minute,” is the slogan for the film. That includes anyone who pays good money to buy this DVD. You’ll get more laughs out of an old Bela Lugosi Dracula movie than from this poor parody of vampire films. If you’re expecting a clever satire of the monster hoard genre, such as Shaun of the Dead or Zombieland, be warned that cleverness has left the building.
The film wants to be the Young Frankenstein of vampire films, but it’s so unoriginal, insipid and low budget, it’s more like the Plan 9 from Outer Space of vampire flicks. The humor in Blood on the Highway works on such a lowbrow level that it makes The Howard Stern Show seem cerebral. The movie attempts to create humorous violence, such as in the Troma Studios cult classic The Toxic Avenger, but dual-directors Barak Epstein »

Michelle "Bombshell" McGee must think it's 1964 because she just tried to prove she's not a racist by saying she has a gaggle of "colored friends." McGee was on The Howard Stern Show this morning on Sirius Xm Radio, where Howard grilled her about all things racist ... from her swastika tattoo to whether she dates outside of her race. But the best/worst part was when she played the ole "I have too many colored friends »

Exclusive: Wow, everyone connected with Howard Stern just keeps getting richer and richer (in addition to the King Of All Media himself, of course). The Howard Stern Show's longtime radio producer, Gary Dell'Abate, has just signed a mid-6 figure book deal with Random House for his biography titled, "They Call Me Baba Booey". It comes out in November. Don Buchwald & Associates' Tony Burton and 3 Arts' Richard Abate did the deal with Random House's Spiegel & Grau imprint editor Julie Grau. Gary is writing it with author Chad Millman. I understand that Howard mentioned something about this on his [...] »

What better place for Tiger’s alleged porn-star mistress to issue a statement than a major Oscar party?
Some big names showed up for Norby Walters’ Night of 100 Stars Oscar Viewing Gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night — oh, and Tiger Woods‘ alleged porn-star mistress Joslyn James was there, too! With lawyer Gloria Allred by her side, Joslyn gave a statement to the press, saying, “I just wish Tiger, Elin, Sam and Charlie the best and I hope that they can find happiness and move forward throughout all this.”
Gloria also had a few statement to make about her client, including that Joslyn is “looking forward to being on The Howard Stern Show in the future.” She also acknowledged that there are other women who have come to her for representation, claiming to have slept with Tiger — but she said she doesn’t comment on how many women she has represented. »
The regulars over on The Howard Stern Show have been called plenty of names over the years. Modern-day Nostradamuses (Nostradami?) was never one of them. Until now. Which is why it's all the more impressive that Artie Lange, go-to guest Norm MacDonald and, yes, even Howard himself, once took turns to warn a Late Night-era CoCo—rather prophetically, as it turns out—about the dangers that lay ahead. "Good luck, man, I don't know," Lange told O'Brien during a November 2008 guest spot. "I think it's a bad move. If I were you, I would've rooted for that bobblehead Leno to stay longer and you could've got the $40 mil for nothing, right? Wasn't that your »
