David Letterman may have retired from late-night TV, but he’s still riffing heartily off of politicians. More specifically, the biggest U.S. politician of the moment. U.S. President Donald Trump was clearly in Letterman’s crosshairs when he visited radio program “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday. The former host of “The Late Show” didn’t hesitate when it came to Trump, calling […] »

Image Source: Getty / Jon Kopaloff Robert Pattinson and Fka Twigs have been going strong for three years now, but as of late, the couple have been plagued by split rumors. It all began in July when Howard Stern asked Rob if he and Twigs are still engaged, and he replied, "Yeah, kind of." Shortly after, Rob was spotted having dinner with pal Katy Perry and Twigs was photographed hanging out with French model Brieuc Breitenstein in Spain. While neither Rob nor Twigs has publicly addressed any of the reports, it's also worth noting that the last time these two hit a red carpet together was in February at The Lost City of Z's premiere in London. However, a source recently told People that Rob and Twigs are "definitely still together." We're not entirely sure what is going on here, so we'll let you be the judge. RelatedThe Cutest Pictures »

Robert Pattinson is not a fan of being interviewed -- or being famous.
The 31-year-old actor covers the September issue of GQ, in which he talks about his unconventional career path after Twilight made him a household name. Clearly, Pattinson was affected by his extreme lack of privacy after the stunning success of the films, and describes the measures he took to evade paparazzi.
Pattinson says that during the height of the Twilight phenomenon, he would ride in trunks of cars frequently to avoid being seen, or trade outfits with his friends in restaurant bathrooms and have them each call Ubers in different directions so that photographers wouldn't know which car he got into. He recalls once driving around for hours until the sun came up after realizing he was being tailed by photographers, so that they wouldn't know where his new house was.
From Martha Thomases’s column of August 4: Last week Heather Antos, an editor at Marvel, went out with a bunch of her colleagues for milkshakes at a nearby Ben & Jerry’s and posted a selfie on Twitter. She said “It’s the Marvel milkshake crew! #FabulousFlo.” The hashtag refers to Flo Steinberg, who had just died.
So, you know, a Friday after a long week, Heather and a group of her pals went out to remember a woman who was their friend and mentor. They didn’t go to a bar. They went for ice cream. They posted a photo on Twitter because that’s what the kids do these days. I don’t know what could be more wholesome.
Naturally, there was an upset. To some, this photo represented everything that was wrong with Marvel today. Women and people of color in editorial offices apparently is a menacing concept to them, »

Jeremy Renner is remembering his late friend, Chris Cornell. The 46-year-old actor sat down on The Howard Stern Show today to discuss his new film Wind River as well as his various talents, including music. One of his big influences was, of course, Cornell who Renner said he had the pleasure of meeting through mutual friends. "He is amazing," Renner said of Cornell, who passed away in May. "I knew him through friends—[Josh] Brolin, Andrew Michael Cooper—through friends of mine I've known for a bit." When asked if they ever partied together, Renner simply noted, "I was just glad to have any experience with Chris." Though Renner »

While promoting the aforementioned film, the actress revealed that she was originally offered a part in DC’s phenomenally-successful Wonder Woman but had to turn it down, likely due to scheduling conflicts. “No, I’m not in Wonder Woman. We’re friends. I think the world of her. We have a mutual respect for each other. She did come to me, and at the time I was either working on something or I don’t know. »

The upcoming Queen biopic, tentatively called Bohemian Rhapsody, “Is finally happening,” according to a statement on the band’s website on Friday, and it will star Rami Malek as lead vocalist, songwriter and pianist Freddie Mercury. This had been revealed beforehand, but this also seems to be officially confirmation.
“Rami has great presence and he’s utterly dedicated to the project,” guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor said in a joint statement. “He’s completely living and breathing Freddie already, which is wonderful.”
The film has been in limbo for over ten years as the band auditioned directors and actors, including Ben Whishaw, Dexter Fletcher, David Fincher, and Sacha Baron Cohen, who dropped out in 2013 over creative differences with the band.

In America, the cutting-edge meaning of the First Amendment — that it’s about protecting the speech you don’t like — often gets tested by the outer limits of sleaze. Larry Flynt, the publisher of Hustler, became a First Amendment poster boy because the magazine he was selling was so offensively shabby and low-minded. (That’s what made it a more defining stress test for free-speech rights than, say, Playboy.) In our era, the rough equivalent of Jerry Falwell’s 1984 defamation suit against Hustler, which ultimately went to the Supreme Court (Falwell lost, 8-0), may be Hulk Hogan’s invasion-of-privacy suit against Gawker. It was about a celebrity sex tape, and things don’t get much sleazier than that. But the stark difference in outcome, as captured by Brian Knappenberger’s riveting and resonant documentary “Nobody Speak: Trials of the Free Press,” illustrates how our priorities as a culture are shifting, and not for the better. »

If you still think that Howard Stern is only all about the naked women and the art of the shock just to be shocking, then you haven't been paying attention. Because while, yes, the phony phone calls continue and the Wack Pack remains a topic of much conversation, the broadcasting pioneer has stealthily become the most probing, substantive interviewer of celebrities—including the stars whom you would never imagine having the wherewithal to sit down with him, knowing the conversation is going to get personal and then some. "That's me!" Gwyneth Paltrow told E! News a couple years ago after her first-ever interview on The Howard Stern Show, during which she talked about, among many »

Ashton Kutcher says Mila Kunis was lying when she claimed she wasn’t attracted to him on the set of “That ’70s Show,” and he says there’s proof. In a recent visit to “The Howard Stern Show,” Seth Rogen explained that one of the classic jokes in “Superbad” was actually his mom’s idea. One of the ongoing jokes in the teen movie is the fact that Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) carries around a fake I.D. the whole time with the moniker McLovin.’ No first or last name, just McLovin.’ Near the end of the movie, Fogell is finally getting laid, but ends up getting arrested for statutory rape because of that fake I.D.
