It's fairly obvious to the world that things have gotten strange in the life of Justin Bieber. Between the fight with his neighbor, his European exploits and even the German monkey situation, the Canadian pop singer has gone through some, let's say, growing pains in 2013.
Perhaps that's why there are some puzzling new details about his February hosting turn on "Saturday Night Live."
While being interviewed on "The Howard Stern Show" May 22, "SNL" star Bill Hader had some interesting things to say about Bieber's time in Studio 8H. According to Hader, "Justin Bieber showed up with like 20 guys. And every time, backstage is a very small constructed place, he had a guy holding a slice of pizza, a guy holding a Diet Coke. You were trying to fight around all these people to get dressed." Really, Justin? One person to hold your Diet Coke and someone else to hold a slice of pizza? »

Looks like it is just Interview Central around here these days, folks. Because following up on last week’s column, in which I briefly recapped my Awesome Con DC experience and posted my interview with the fantastic Phil Lamarr (go read/listen if you missed it last week! Good stuff!), I now get to share with you my Awesome Con DC interview with the excellent Billy West! Hooray!
Even if you somehow haven’t heard the name Billy West, before, I almost guarantee you’ve heard his voice. Voicing everything from classic cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Woody Woodpecker, and Popeye to four of the main characters on Futurama (Philip J. Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Dr. Zoidberg, and Zapp Brannigan), Billy has voiced characters on a myriad of other shows as well, including title characters for Nickelodeon’s Doug and The Ren & Stimpy Show; and is also »

La Toya Jackson may soon regret messing with Omarosa on "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice."
Two weeks ago, the hot-headed ladies got into an argument on Donald Trump's NBC reality show in which Jackson alleged that Omarosa "probably pulled the plug" on her late fiance Michael Clarke Duncan. Now, Omarosa told "The Howard Stern Show" that she would be suing Jackson.
"I'm going to [sue her]," Omarosa said, before rehashing Jackson's cruel comments.
Stern was dubious about the lawsuit's merit. "I don't think it's actionable," he told her.
"It is only actionable if she repeats it. It's called a reckless disregard for the truth. So she said it back in October when she first taped the show. She's repeated it subsequently on all of these talk shows," Omarosa said, before clarifying that she would be suing for emotional distress. Omarosa went on to say that Jackson's attorney wrote her a letter blaming the comments on the show's producers. »

His first trip to "The Howard Stern Show" was a memorable one for "Spring Breakers" and "Oz The Great and Powerful Star" James Franco. As interviews with Howard Stern seem to go, the subject matter got a little scandalous.
When asked about rumors that he'd turned down sex with Lindsay Lohan, Franco was embarrassed, but open. "I don't want to like, brag about it," he says, "I don't know how that got out." Shedding more light on the subject, Franco continued. "She was having issues even then," he explains, "Honestly, she was a friend. I've met a lot of people that are troubled and sometimes you don't want to do that."
Franco also talked about his now-infamous Oscar hosting gig with Anne Hathaway. He says he hasn't spoken with Hathaway recently, but adds, "Anne and I made up, by the way. Let's just get that on the record." After the awards show, »

At 51-years-old Adrienne didn’t think she would ever find love again but she did with Sean! A source says that it was the best sex of the reality star’s life!
Adrienne Maloof and Sean Stewart may be broken up but they’re still friends. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and the son of Rod Stewart had a May to December romance that just wasn’t able to sustain itself.
Why Adrienne & Sean Split
A source says: “She and Sean definitely had an amazing spark, but it fizzled fast. They had a talk and, while they really care for each other, decided they would be better as friends. He was just a great guy who was making her laugh and forget about her past dramas.”
Those dramas included Adrienne’s divorce from Paul Nassif with whom she has three children: Gavin, 9 and 6-year-old twins Colin and Christian. »

Big surprise here: Donald Trump has slammed Beyonce's Super Bowl performance last Sunday because of what he called "suggestive" dancing and inappropriate behavior onstage. Appearing on "The Howard Stern Show" on Feb. 6, the 66-year-old real estate mogul said: "When Beyonce was thrusting her hips forward in a very suggestive manner, if someone else would have done that it would have been a national scandal. I thought it was ridiculous ... I thought it was not appropriate," he said.
Beyonce performed at the halftime show much to critical acclaim, despite the unflattering photographs that emerged afterward of the pop star making unusually aggressive poses. And though the outspoken Trump made clear that he found Bey's show distasteful, he recognized he was in the minority when it came to his visceral reaction to the performance. "There's been no mention of [her scandalous behavior]. So obviously, it must not have been so bad. She gets a pass. »

Covering the horror scene as long as we have, we've seen some pretty eclectic cast lists, but with its assortment of reality TV stars, ex-baseball players, lady wrestlers, and a musician (oh yeah, there are a few regular actors in there, too), Gravedigger could be the oddest one yet!
From the Press Release:
Have you ever felt you needed to just bury your guilt? Literally...
Currently filming is 2013’s most gruesome tale of fear and fright, Gravedigger. A sinister collaboration among the minds of award-winning actor Keith Collins (Stuck in the Middle, The Meat Puppet), Doug Bollinger (Waltzing Anna), and Brandon Ruckdashel (“Co-ed Confidential”) and from the eerie ink of NY Emmy-award winning writer Joseph Pepitone and his brother, Billy Pepitone (Stuck in the Middle), Gravedigger is a horrifying shockfest that will keep you on the edge of your seat and the brink of insanity throughout a terrifying journey of paranoia. »

Joel McHale opened up about his former co-star Chevy Chase's tumultuous "Community" tenure on "The Howard Stern Show" this week.
Chase parted ways with "Community" in November 2012 after repeatedly ripping the show and engaging in a public feud with its now-fired showrunner Dan Harmon, although he will appear in most of the upcoming fourth season.
When asked about Chase's generally negative attitude towards the show, McHale replied, "He just didn't want to be there." He added, "When I would try [to talk to him about his attitude], he would just try to fight me ... He physically wanted to fight me."
Chase's distaste for "Community" boiled over in the press. In March, he told HuffPost TV that he had "creative issues with this show," then compared the show's sense of humor to "being relegated to hell and watching 'Howdy Doody' for the rest of your life."
The tension came to a head when Chase, apparently »

George Takei says there’s a not-so-secret mission -- or two -- behind the bitingly funny videos and Facebook updates which the "Star Trek" legend posts regularly to his 3.5 million Facebook followers, who grow by 40,000 per week.
“I think my new image as a comic observer of society happened as a result of a very serious mission I have,” he explained in an interview on my SiriusXM OutQ program this week, while also weighing in on Jodie Foster’s coming out; President Obama’s embrace of gay rights in his inaugural address; Arnold Scwharzenegger turning his back on the gay community; Tennessee Sen. Stacey “Don’t Say Gay” Campfield; and being an openly gay entertainer spearheading Lgbt rights. (Listen to the full interview below)
With a new book, “Oh Myyy! (There Goes the Internet),” and a musical headed to Broadway -- “Allegiance,” which focuses on the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II -- Takei, »

Lena Dunham called into The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM on Wednesday so that the "Girls" mastermind and shock jock could kiss and make up over airwaves after more than a week of jabs and jokes.
Earlier in the month, Stern referred to Dunham as "a little fat girl who kinda looks like Jonah Hill, and she keeps taking her clothes off, and it kind of feels like rape."
In his conversation with Dunham, Stern apologized for his earlier remarks. "I did say those things [but] I guess I just wanna tell you that I love you and I think you're terrific." He said he changed his mind about Dunham and the show after watching more than a couple episodes of "Girls."
Stern mentioned that he started to compare Dunham to Woody Allen after watching the scene in which Adam (Adam Driver) is on the phone with his sister and says, »

Howard Stern and Lena Dunham might just be kindred spirits yet! At the shock jock's behest, the Golden Globe-winning Girls star called in to The Howard Stern Show this morning to hear the Sirius-xm Radio host eat his words—and, in so doing, she proved even further what a darn fine sport she is. "I was thinking out loud," Stern explained himself to the writer-actress, nine days after bashing her looks and her scene-stealing ways on Girls. "That's what I do, I just kind of ramble on." He then realized, he said, that after watching three more episodes of Girls, "Not only am I addicted, but I totally get you. I'm in love with you and your character...So I »

Howard Stern wants Lena Dunham to know he thinks she is more than a 'talentless little fat chick'. The controversial radio show host insists comments where he described the 'Girls' creator as 'a little fat girl who kinda looks like Jonah Hill, and she keeps taking her clothes off, and it kind of feels like rape' were taken out of context and said he wants to explain what he meant to Lena, 26. On his Sirius Xm radio show 'The Howard Stern Show', the 59-year-old DJ also said: 'I learned that this little fat chick writes the show and directs the show and that makes sense to me because she's such a camera hog that the other »

Talk about surprise casting, this juicy morsel is kind of like a sudden jab to the face. Mike Tyson is coming to an episode of Law & Order: Svu. The guest role is the former boxer’s acting debut. Watch out world.
Get this. Mike Tyson’s upcoming guest role on Svu isn’t your typical light work either. Deadline calls the part “dark” and “dramatic”. Tyson will bring to life a character by the name of Reggie Rhodes. Rhodes is a murderer sentenced to death. What put the man on that terrible path? Indications are, he’s the result of an atrocious childhood. Stories like his are probably a dime a dozen in the New York penal system, but either way, his particular case will grab the attention of Detective Benson and defense attorney Bayard Ellis, whose recurring role comes from Last Resort actor Andre Braugher.

Natalie Maines has downplayed the likelihood of a full-scale Dixie Chicks reunion. The Dixie Chicks have been on a hiatus since the release of their Grammy-winning album Taking the Long Way in 2006, aside from a few live dates. Maines recently discussed the group's future on The Howard Stern Show, admitting that the public outcry over their opposition to the Iraq War a decade ago put a damper on the group's success. "I just don't feel like it's the Dixie Chicks' time," Maines told Howard Stern. "I feel like things were tainted permanently. So, I struggle with going out on five Grammys or going out - petering out." The Dixie Chicks were famously the subject of protests in 2003 (more) »
