The Year That Wasted My Time, 24 March 2002
2/10
Author: Cobes from Green Bay, WI

I saw the world premiere of this film, and the best part about the screening was that I was able to see this film for free. There is absolutely nothing original in this film. The number of lame, over-used stereotypes of 70s personas is staggering in this film. The screenplay is abhorrently repetitious, and the small sub plots are completely unnecessary and add absolutely nothing to this film. The only reason anyone might see this film, is because it is quite obvious that the producers wasted most of their money on casting some semi-well known actors. Danica McKeller (The Wonder Years), Fred Willard (Waiting for Guffman), and Jonathan Brandis (Sea Quest) are just a few of the people you'll remember seeing before. The casting director should have worried more about talent than just the recognizable faces. I doubt this film will get any sort of wide distribution, and for all of you, that is a good thing. Do not waste your time viewing this poor excuse of a film.
