The lines spoken, during the night club scene, when the bartender is complaining about his hub caps beong stolen, was an actual event. The first assistant director, Paul Domick, who also portrayed the bartender, had this happen to him outside the production offices during the first week of pre-production. He parked his rental car in the Theatre lot, came into the office for an hour and half and went out to do some errands. When he came out, the hub caps had been stolen. There was a hub cap store directly across the street. See more »

despite the occasionally stilted acting and "seen-it-all-before" story, this is a fairly compelling movie.
It has suspense, the scenes with the demon are actually pretty creepy, some of the visual effects are superb and best of all, no ridiculously ill placed humour to detract from the film, as too many (wannabe) horror films have in them now
honestly, this isn't the greatest film ever made, but it actually draws you in and at least makes an attempt at character development
i was glad i watched it
