It had twists, it had lead characters that weren't perfect, and it had moments of suspense and mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I watched the copy I have at least twenty times, which is a record for me. I loved the riddles that were dispersed throughout, and I found the characters of Lucinda and Ellis Pond to be well-rounded and excellently portrayed. It makes you think, which is more than a lot of people expect from a movie without theatrical release. And for once, the evil bad guy isn't one to make gaping mistakes. Intriguing plot twists, action sequences, and flashbacks help the story along throughout, not that it needs the assistance.
