I played these games, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 4, which was known as 2 back then, when they came out the FIRST time, on the SNES, in the 90's. I loved them then, and adore them even more now. I thought I had played 2/4 to the point that there was NOTHING new to learn, but the answer-Nope. The new" HARD version", which in reality is just the original version as released in Japan, is an more even and profound experience. As for CT, the game still has it, but is now LOADED with FMV clips, done in TRUE ANIME style by the ORIGINAL artist for the game. All in all, a very nice set, well worth the time to find, the money spent, and this is EVEN if you have already played the two titles before, perhaps Especially if you have. It will open up new doors for you where these games are concerned. The best thing about this, in BOTH titles, is that they have cleared up some of the often muddy translations, making the proper choices in grammar and spelling. Thank you, Squaresoft, for such a wonderful treat.
