I used to watch a lot of telenovelas when I was younger. They were all from Mexico and after watching rather a large number of them,I noticied that they were all the same. And I stopped watching them for a few years. I started to watch Milagros by accident. I didn't want to see one more mexican telenovela but my friend said that Milagros was from Peru and it was really good. Well I watched few episodes and I got into this telenovela. The storyline was good and interesting and I didn't remember any other telenovela with the same storyline. Choice of the cast was rather good. I have to admit that Sonya Smith as Milagros it wasn't the best choice. Despite the fact that her character has changed later Sonya still looked too weak. But the true stars were Yvonne Frayssinet as Lucrecia and Reynaldo Arenas as Jaguar. Those two were my favourites. I loved watching them playing specially together. I think that Lucrecia and Jaguar were the most interesting characters to play and Y.Frayssinet and R.Arenas made a great job. At the end I can only say that if you like telenovela and you would like to see a really interesting one then Milagros is a good choice.
