This babyish TV series shines out like a sunbeam! :)
Mightyzebra3 July 2007
Genre: Quite babyish animated TV series with toy animals.

My thoughts: I like this cute TV series, I think it should be more well-known and I prefer it to most TV series that have come out recently or at all! It is very cute and has good animation, although I'm not sure what kind of animation it is (I think it might be stop motion or plasticine but I can't decide between the two)! I like the characters, especially Stripey the zebra (go zebras!) and Woeful the monkey (he isn't actually too unhappy in the series). I love this cute TV series!

Recommended to: People who like babyish TV series and who like toy animals and animation. Enjoy! :)

What happens: Five soft toys live on a little blue shelf. They belong to Timothy, he chose them all himself. They have lots of fun exploring and playing everywhere

A cute, fun and charming show from my childhood
TheLittleSongbird5 June 2011
As a young girl I loved Animal Shelf. Looking back on some of my favourites at 19 from childhood, as some may know I am quite nostalgic, I still think Animal Shelf is a cute, fun and charming that is perfect for its target audience and more. The show's animation is very nice. The toy animals are cute-looking, and the backgrounds and colours are detailed and easy on the eyes. The music is memorable and sweet, the writing is funny and charming and the stories are cute with many amusing and nostalgic scenes. The characters are all engaging with endearing personalities, my personal favourite has always been Stripey the Zebra, though I love them all equally. All in all, cute, fun and charming, well worth watching! 10/10 Bethany Cox
