During an interview with Femme Fatales magazine, Griffin Drew said the sets were kept at about 40 degrees during filming. It was bad enough with their costumes on, but she and the other actors were naked half the time and freezing. She joked the only positive thing was her nipples were rock hard during love scenes. One male actor joked with her that it was fortunate they weren't actually having sex because there was no way in hell he could get it up in that frigid temperature.
Griffin Drew said she was very excited about making this period piece, because she'd get to wear vintage-style costumes. But then she ended up having to strip naked for most of the scenes.
During an interview with Femme Fatales magazine, Griffin Drew said she enjoyed working with director Madison Monroe on this project because it's easier working with a woman on erotic films. She said, women directors are more compassionate with you than men, and want to avoid you being embarrassed while filming the nudity and/or sex. She added that what really unnerves her the most is a male director who is doing his first erotic film. "First of all, they're embarrassed and that makes you embarrassed. It's also important to feel that they are only interested in doing their job; specifically, strictly shooting the scene without focusing on 'cheap shot' views they can get of you. Sometimes you just want to ask them, 'Hey, are you actually doing something productive over there, or are you just playing with yourself?'"
