The best of the reality series crop is back, with 12 teams of 2 players each racing around the world, trying not to be eliminated at a series of checkpoints in which the last team to arrive is booted from the show. CBS chooses teams with relationships containing at least some tension, especially when the situation involves intense pressure. This season includes such duos as two circus clowns, a gay married couple, a father and son, a recently engaged couple, married couples, and best friends. Written by

Did You Know?
In season 10, a Fast Forward was offered in conjunction with the Intersection in Leg 8. Mary reported in a post-race interview on "The Finish Line" that a team could use a Fast Forward for a second time (in this case with a team that had not used a Fast Forward earlier in the race). In previous seasons, teams were allowed to use only one Fast Forward during the entire race. This would come into effect a season later in "All-Stars" when Danny & Oswald completed two Fast Forwards. In the final episode, when seats become available for the flight to Denver, a computer screen is shown with passengers "Patrick/Donald" and "Irwin/Allison" in seats 28C & 28D. Donny & Allison were the 2nd team eliminated. Possibly stock footage of a computer screen for privacy protection of real passengers. Possibly dummy bookings to ensure a close race finish. See more
