It was also a time when he was a potential Superman in what was then known as "Superman: Flyby," the second attempt to revive Superman following Tim Burton and Nic Cage's "Superman Lives" in the late 1990s.
This incarnation had McG & Brett Ratner directing at different points with at least two scripts by "Alias" and "Felicity" creator J.J. Abrams. It ultimately fell apart once Bryan Singer came onboard and started over with "Superman Returns".

The filmmaker will write and direct the pilot episode, and will serve as showrunner and executive producer. The series is one of four superhero-themed programs that Marvel and Netflix have teamed up to produce, including Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. Netflix has issued 13-episode orders for each show, debuting in 2015, which will lead up to The Defenders mini-series.
No story details were given for the Daredevil series. The Marvel comic book was previously adapted into the 2003 action-adventure Daredevil, starring Ben Affleck as Matt Murdock, a blind Hell's Kitchen lawyer who transforms himself into a masked vigilante, using his heightened senses to clean up the streets.
A&E has started to tease Bates Motel Season 2 and we have a look at two videos featuring Norman and Norma. Filming of the second season started this summer, so we should be seeing much more of the upcoming season very soon.

Other additions are Michael Vartan (Alias) as a love interest for Norma, Michael Eklund (The Call) as a big player in the drug business, Rebecca Creskoff (Hung) as a new friend to Norma, and Kenny Johnson (Sons Of Anarchy) as Norma’s brother.
While a premiere date has not yet been set, A&E previously announced that Bates Motel Season 2 will contain ten episodes and should premiere early in 2014. *These videos are thanks to TVLine.

Sleepy Hollow is getting yet another great addition to its guest cast, this time in the form of Alias alum Victor Garber. We’ve already had the pleasure of enjoying the stellar main cast, but this show – certainly one of the more surprisingly addictive new shows of the fall season – saw fit to bring on the talents of John Noble and Garber is terrific follow up casting. Now if only Sleepy Hollow could get those two in a room together! Alas, it doesn’t seem likely that such a scene would ever take place given whom Garber is playing. But just because it isn’t likely doesn’t mean it’s impossible. This is, after all, a show about the supernatural. Anything is possible.
According to TVLine, Garber will be playing Ichabod’s dear old dad. We’ve heard tales of the senior Crane when Ichabod mentioned spending time with »

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series. »
Ugh. Sleepy Hollow. Stop stealing all the awesome! Sources confirm that the man who shall forever be known to Alias fans as TV's "Spy Daddy," Victor Garber, has been cast in a pivotal role on the new Fox fan favorite series: Ichabod Crane's (Tom Mison) father. Does this make Ichabod Crane and Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner) siblings? Of course it does! (It doesn't.) We are told Garber has signed on for at least one episode, with the option of multiple episodes, for the new Fox drama on Monday nights. The down side? Sleepy Hollow wraps up its first season in January, which means Garber likely wouldn't return until season two. The Fox series, which is a »
From top to bottom, "Sleepy Hollow" has been sheer perfection all season long, and this latest bit of casting news does nothing to alter our opinion in that regard. Read on to learn who has been signed to play Ichabod's father.
As you may recall, in the November 25th episode Ichabod (Tom Mison) spoke fondly of his father, reminiscing about spending time with him while dad was on holiday from teaching at Oxford.
As you also may remember, Fox is airing a rerun of "Sleepy Hollow" tonight, but the show returns next week with Episode 1.10, "The Golem." For more info visit "Sleepy Hollow" on Fox.com, "like" "Sleepy Hollow" on Facebook, and follow "Sleepy Hollow" on Twitter.

Dream casting alert: Your favorite new bats*** crazy supernatural soap, "Sleepy Hollow," has just cast one of your favorite actors ever: Victor Garber is set to appear in an upcoming episode of the Fox hit.
According to TVLine, the "Alias" vet will play the father of Tom Mison's Ichabod Crane in "at least" one episode, which means there's a possibility for more. (However, with the season wrapping up in January, it's likely that he won't be able to come back for another episode until Season 2.)
"When we cast John Noble [as sin-eater Henry Parrish], that was definitely a discussion," executive producer Ken Olin tells TVLine about casting well-known guest stars. "But then, finally, it was really on the merits of John Noble. He's amazing. So that's always the balance that we work with."
"Sleepy Hollow's" first season of 13 episode wraps up in January, but has already been renewed for Season 2. »

It was Rebecca that made me pay attention to The Mentalist. I had never seen the CBS crime drama starring Simon Baker until the eighth episode of season 2. “His Red Right Hand” was the one where a secretary in the Sacramento offices of the California Bureau of Investigation shot Sam Bosco (Terry Kinney) and two other agents on behalf of a serial killer — Red John, a brilliant phantom with a blood-drawn smiley face insignia, powerful influence and connections, and a scores of similarly brain-sick and unnervingly gleeful devotees.
