Storyline

Riley is an inventor, sort of, and he's a film editor who gets fired. While looking for a real job, he gets a gig doing a wedding video. The thing is, the bride is a wonderful woman and the groom is a heel. As Riley finds himself falling in love with Cherrie, dilemmas arise: he's sort of a loser, so what kind of plan can he come up with? His racquet-ball partner, Taylor, is his sounding board; she's direct and no-nonsense with her comments. The morning of the wedding, Riley goes to see Cherrie to make his pitch; she hands him a slip of paper with one last request. Should he accept rejection and turn to Taylor for solace? Comedic Romance..fun movie
11 December 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I've seen another of Mr Pilvinsky's movies. It was titled, "Hall of Mirrors" and may have well been his first. His father was kind enough to show it to me (proud Dad that he is). Both these movies show the development in Marc's film making abilities.

Indefintely was a fun movie to watch. I instantly liked Reilly, and hated the jerk off fiancée (playing true to the stereotype of insensitive guys who don't realize what they have in front of them). As the future Mother in law claims, "Everybody loves Cherry", and this includes me. Chery brings light to the movie. Reilly's friend and racket ball competitor was "painted" and portrayed perfectly as a young lady with unresolved "issues".

One hopes that thing will work out as we would wish them to, diverging from the path on which it began. Love has a way of making that happen.

If you get the chance, see this movie. You'll be able to say you saw one of Pilvinsky's works before he became the film maker he is sure to become. You'll also enjoy a short entertaining film about love.

This movie complements others like it, such as "Serendipity" and "Sleepless in Seattle".

MP/Dad..thanks for showing these. CJ
