could have been better, but still watchable thanks to Mariel Hemingway
8 June 2010 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

this third movie in the series, basically ignores the second movie,First the least enjoyable in the series for' just a bit to slow.there isn't really much action and there are way too many gaps where not a lot happens.however,Mariel Hemingway is great,as she was in the original movie,First Daughter.she brings some credibility to her role as Secret Service agent Alex McGregor.if it weren't for her,the movie would be less's still not a bad movie,it just doesn't compare to First's more in line with First Target(the second movie in the series)which starred Darryl Hannah in the role of Alex McGregor.for me,First Shot is a 6/10
