Kix Brooks had a revelation while executive producing and starring in his new movie, You’re Gonna Miss Me — and he couldn’t be happier about it.
While working with his son Eric, who co-wrote the drama about learning the meaning of family, Brooks, 62, says he realized, “my son Eric is quite a little screenwriter.”

The 62-year-old singer took to Twitter on Thursday to share a hilarious throwback pic from her "hipster" days.
"I was hipster, before hipster wasn’t cool… #throwbackthursday #tbt #reba," McEntire captioned the epic shot, which features her in teased-up hair and ripped white jeans.

The Gospel of Kevin has added another chapter… er, cast member.
JoAnna Garcia Swisher has joined the cast of the ABC dramedy pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She’ll play Amy, the sister of Kevin, the title character played by Parenthood vet Jason Ritter. Kevin is a troubled guy who recently attempted suicide, and now believes God has given him a mission to save the world. Amy is recently widowed, and decides to take Kevin into her family home.

The fight of the year has finally arrived.
The film is about two high school teachers prepared to solve their differences the hard way after school. On the last day of the year, a mild-mannered high school English teacher Andy Campbell (Day) is trying his best to keep it together amidst senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that put jobs on the line. But things go from bad to worse when he accidentally crosses his much tougher and deeply feared colleague, Ron Stricklan (Ice Cube), who challenges Campbell to an old-fashioned throw down after school. News of the fight spreads like wildfire and ends up becoming the very thing this school, and Campbell, needed.
